Jubak Picks - this is a website from Jim Jubak. He has written articles on Microsoft's MSN money website. He is an astute investor and write articles about what he is investing in these days. There are many of his stock picks on his website.  

NY Times - Financial Blog - this blog comments about on going financial news from around the world with an emphasis on the US. This blog has a lot of information and commentary about macro economic issues. It is easy to read and would be helpful for any type of investor to read.

Credit Writedowns - this website has a number of writers. The focus on the website is the US although there are articles about other countries as well. There are a surprising number of articles daily. The intended audience is the everyday investor. 

Rit Holtz - this is a website blog by Barry Ritholtz (wall street financial person) about macro economic issues around the world with a perspective from the US. It goes by the moniker "The Big Picture". Its target audience is both the wall street trader to the everyday person seeking to learn more about the economy and investment ideas. 

Aleph Blog - this is a website blog by David Merkel. He is an investment professional who writes about financial issues and news that would be of interest to institutional investors and individual investors. There is quite a bit of information on the blog for investors to consume. There are interesting investment ideas that will give the reader perspective on certain issues. As with any investment it is important for investors to do their due dilligence and the writer does emphasis this. 

Naked Capitalism - this website is in a blog format. There are a lot of links to stories on other websites. It has a pretty good list of links so you can peruse to see whether there are any articles of interest on other websites. There are also articles written about current financial news. 

Deal Breaker- this website has a lot of news from insiders on Wall Street. It is an interesting to read stories from the perspective of hedge fund managers, mutual fund managers and traders on Wall Street.

Zero Hedge - this is a combination financial blog website and a news site. It gets a feed of news from The Fly on The Wall which specializes in wall street breaking news. 

Time magazine - Curious Capitalist Blog - A stocks and markets commentary from Time magazine called the curious capitalist. There are a lot of insightful blog postings that are posted to get you thinking about the issue.

Global Economic Analysis Blog - Mish's Global Economic Trend Analysis is a blog by Michael Shedlock. It concentrates on economic issues affecting the US. The views expressed in the blog are from a right wing point of view. It's target audience is the everyday person. 

Foot Noted - this is a blog about details that companies have  buried with in SEC filings. It is owned by Morningstar. A lot of interesting information can be gleened from filings with the SEC. Information such as controversial spending by companies, excessive compensation of executives,  self dealing and symptoms of potential problems at a company can be found in some of the entries on this website. 

Abnormal Returns - this is a financial blog that concentrates on the US market. It is updated daily with links to current stories that may interest the reader. It has a wide range of financial stories that do not concentrate on one particular sector of the market.  

The Atlantic magazine - Business - this business website is the online version of the magazine. It has articles about current events and companies in the news. The articles are well written and researched. It is not specifically a business magazine but there are some business articles on this website.  

Charting Alpha - this blog has a lot of interesting investing information that is targeted at sophisticated investors. This website concentrates on technical analysis for its investment decisions. There is analysis of commodites and stocks covered in this blog.  

Paul Kedrosky - Infectious greed by Paul Kedrosky. This blog comments about current events occuring in the world. The opinions are by the writer Paul Kedrosky. 

Daily Options Report.com - this is a blog by Adam Warner. It focuses on using volatility to your advantage. The VIX (volatility index) is discussed in detail on this blog.  

Delong Blog - this is an economic blog by economist J. Bradford Delong. It also has comments about other news events occurring in the world. 

Wallet Pop - this is a personal finance website from AOL that has information for everybody. It is not so much an investing website but a lifestyle website. It does have personal finance tips on how to save money.

Market Observation - this is an economics blog about issues affecting mainly the US but also some other countries around the world. There are articles that are pointed out in this blog that are of interest to investors as it gives ideas on where the  economy is going.  

Wall Street Journal - Economics - this is the economics blog from the Wall Street Journal. They tend to blog about macro economic issues, as well as analysis of the Federal Reserve Bank's policies. There are also articles and analysis about unemployment rates, budgets, deficits, bills and politics. 

Wall Street Journal - Wealth - this is a blog from the Wall Street Journal about the wealthy. It is a general interest blog for the mainstream public. 

Weakonomics - this blog is not only related to finance or money related. There are many other topics that are completely unrelated to finance and investing but are of interest to the blogger. 

Google Finance Blog - about new financial offerings from Google - this is a financial blog by employees of Google writing about new financial offerings by Google. The financial product offerings from Google are still in the early stages of development. It is sporadic with its updates to the blog. 

Econ Browser - this is a financial blog by a couple professors in the US about macro economic issues facing the US.
